Basketball Game Preview: Inlet Grove Hurricanes vs. Sports Leadership & Management Cobras

Having just played yesterday, the Inlet Grove Hurricanes will get right back to it and host the Sports Leadership & Management Cobras at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Inlet Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season.

Inlet Grove will head into Thursday's matchup on the come-up: they were handed a 26-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past American Heritage 63-60. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hurricanes as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Inlet Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Robert Brown led the charge by going 8 for 19 en route to 20 points along with six boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jorden Black, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Sports Leadership & Management had to suffer through a 81-33 loss at the hands of Greenacres Christian. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sports Leadership & Management's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Inlet Grove, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Inlet Grove took their victory against Sports Leadership & Management when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 80-56. Does Inlet Grove have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sports Leadership & Management turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
