Baseball Recap: Kennedy Titans vs. Moreau Catholic Mariners
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newark Memorial, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Moreau Catholic Mariners. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 18-9 win the Mariners walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Abhay Dhaliwal made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. He has become a key player for Kennedy: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-10 otherwise. Dhaliwal was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
