Football Recap: Little Elm Comes Up Short on the Road Against Frisco

Little Elm kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 31-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frisco Raccoons. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

A big part of Frisco's win came down to the chemistry between Cobyn Harbert and his top target Jackson Voris. Harbert threw for 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Voris rushed for 19 yards and one TD.

Little Elm and Frisco could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Lobos (ranked 389th) will meet Walnut Grove (ranked 123rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Frisco will face off against Melissa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (255 vs. 67).
