Smethport extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-6. They lost 13-0 to the Port Allegany Gators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 back in March.

Willcox has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025.
