Volleyball Recap: Thunderbird Beats Paradise Honors for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Thunderbird waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Paradise Honors Panthers by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Thunderbird had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-23, 25-21, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Paradise Honors still got an impressive performance from Isabella Staudinger-Hughes, who had 20 digs and five assists.

The win got Thunderbird back to even at 11-11. As for Paradise Honors, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 21-12 record.

Coincidentally, Thunderbird and Paradise Honors will both be playing Shadow Mountain the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Matadors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Titans will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
