Soccer Game Preview: Proviso East vs. Glenbard South + How To Watch

The Proviso East Pirates will venture away from home to challenge the Glenbard South Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Proviso East has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Proviso East and Hinsdale South meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Pirates lost 8-1 to the Hornets. Damian Morales is probably feeling rather frustrated with he team right now: they lost despite he posting 50 goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Glenbard South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Elmwood Park a 2-0 shutout on Saturday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Glenbard South were the better team in the second half.

Proviso East has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season. As for Glenbard South, their win bumped their record up to 6-8-5.
