Davidson hadn't done well against Baker recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hornets. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Davidson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 25-22, 26-24.

Davidson has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Baker, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
