Cimarron's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They skirted past the Magdalena Steers 15-14. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 9-2 win the Steers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Orion Ledoux was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Taven Martinez was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and three RBI.

Cimarron was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Cimarron's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Magdalena, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Coming up, Cimarron will face off against Logan at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Magdalena, they will challenge Grady at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
