Basketball Recap: Camelback Takes a Loss

Camelback was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 80-76 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chandler Wolves. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (68), the Spartans still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Camelback still got an impressive performance from Aken Logan, who went 9 of 22 en route to 27 points and five steals. Logan's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jaylin Ideran was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Camelback's record now sits at 2-11. As for Chandler, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Camelback will welcome Browne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Camelback has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Chandler, they are taking a road trip to challenge Shadow Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
