Volleyball Recap: Regis Beats Bloomer for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Regis came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bloomer Blackhawks by a score of 3-1. The Ramblers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blackhawks, too.

Regis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-10, 25-17.

Leading Regis to victory were Olivia Haselwander and Bella Borton. Haselwander had 24 digs, while Borton had 13 digs. With that strong performance, Haselwander is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game. Hallie Albright also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Regis' record is now 25-6. As for Bloomer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.
