Baseball Recap: El Paso-Gridley Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for El Paso-Gridley's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons on Monday. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

El Paso-Gridley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Kelsey, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

El Paso-Gridley's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, their record now sits at 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Paso-Gridley will welcome Tremont at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Turks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, they will square off against Deer Creek-Mackinaw at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
