Softball Game Preview: West Florence Knights vs. North Myrtle Beach Chiefs

The West Florence Knights will venture away from home to face off against the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Saturday just wasn't the day for West Florence's offense. They lost 12-0 to Summerville on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North Myrtle Beach came up short against Conway on Monday and fell 4-1. The contest marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

North Myrtle Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kirali Altena, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Altena brought in this season.

West Florence now has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
