Jamestown has gone 9-1 against Warhill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Jamestown's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Warhill has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

Jamestown will bounce into Friday's match after beating Lafayette, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Rams 2-1.

Meanwhile, Warhill beat Smithfield 7-3 on Wednesday.

Evan Harney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Grayson Thompson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Theo Manna, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

The win got Jamestown back to even at 7-7. As for Warhill, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Jamestown was able to grind out a solid win over Warhill when the teams last played back in April, winning 13-8. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
