There's no place like home for Donelson Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 50-45 W over the Clarksville Academy Cougars on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 48-38 win back in January.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anna Hellums, who posted eight points. What's more, Hellums also posted two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Sicily Robinson Ellington was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Donelson Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Clarksville Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season.

Donelson Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 31-27 loss against Ezell-Harding Christian on the 14th. Clarksville Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
