Fullerton waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies by a score of 52-45. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 881st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fullerton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Myvett led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards. The contest was Myvett's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Kim, who went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points.

Fullerton is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Godinez Fundamental, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fullerton will head out to take on Costa Mesa at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Costa Mesa knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Fullerton likes a good challenge. As for Godinez Fundamental, they will square off against Tustin at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
