Softball Recap: Alhambra Comes Up Short

Alhambra couldn't beat Clayton Valley Charter on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Ugly Eagles by a score of 6-5. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Ugly Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Mia Brady was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Juliana Carranza was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Clayton Valley Charter, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-5-1.

Alhambra has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Benicia on the 8th. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against College Park on the 8th.
