Volleyball Recap: Griffin Comes Up Short

Griffin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Red Devils. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Jackson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-14.

Griffin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Lamar County on the 23rd. As for Jackson, they will welcome Morgan County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
