Recap: Bovina Mustangs vs. Hart Longhorns
The Bovina Mustangs won the last time they faced the Hart Longhorns, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Bovina blew past Hart 68-25 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Bovina has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bovina to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eric Solis, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Those three blocks set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Herrera, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Bovina has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Hart, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Happy the next time they take the court. Bovina will head out to face Happy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hart will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
