Soccer Game Preview: Pequannock vs. Madison + How To Watch

The Pequannock Golden Panthers will head out to face off against the Madison Dodgers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pequannock will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Pequannock had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Morris County Tech on Friday. The Golden Panthers never let the Devils get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Pequannock's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 107th, while Morris County Tech are ranked 272nd).

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Madison's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They and Chatham finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Madison have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Pequannock's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1. With that draw, Madison's record moves to 9-0-2.

Pequannock might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Madison when the teams last played back in September. Can the Golden Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
