Soccer Recap: Sapulpa Comes Up Short

Sapulpa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grant Generals. That's two games in a row now that Sapulpa have lost by exactly two goals.

Sapulpa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Grant, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sapulpa is set to square off against their familiar foe Ponca City at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Grant will challenge rival Jenks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
