Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Victory Christian

There's no place like home for Victory Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Catoosa Indians 10-3 on Monday. The Conquerors not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23, 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jacob Earnhardt, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin McAvoy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Victory Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Catoosa struck out 11 times.

Victory Christian pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Catoosa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Victory Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Catoosa: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
