            The Roaring Fork Rams will head out to  take on the Cedaredge Bruins  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Roaring Fork knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Cedaredge likes a good challenge.
Last Tuesday, Roaring Fork strolled past Meeker with  points to spare, taking the game  61-46. Given the Rams' advantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 113th, while the Cowboys are ranked 275th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

 Roaring Fork's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Lucas Carballeira led the charge by  putting up 17  points in addition to five  assists and three  steals. The  game was  Carballeira's third in a row with at least 16 points.  Kiko Pena was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double with 12 points and nine  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  Cedaredge played a tough  contest  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost  68-42 to Meeker. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Roaring Fork has  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Cedaredge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
 Everything came up roses for Roaring Fork against Cedaredge in their previous matchup  back in January, as the  team secured  a  67-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roaring Fork since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
