Basketball Recap: Ribault Comes Up Short

Ribault managed to slip by Lake Howell the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. 2026 welcomed the Trojans with a 63-37 loss courtesy of the Silverhawks on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while the Silverhawks are ranked 37th).

Ribault's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Lake Howell, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Looking ahead, Ribault will welcome San Jose Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake Howell, they will take on Lake Highland Prep on Saturday.
