Baseball Recap: La Habra Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

While La Habra put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Banning. The Highlanders walked away with a 3-0 win over the Pilots.

Not much got past BJ Brooks, who gave up just four hits to keep Banning off the board. Brooks has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Bobby Brooks was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Nico DeCorte was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

La Habra's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Banning, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Habra will host St. Paul at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Banning, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Port of Los Angeles at 11:00 a.m. on the 14th.
