Basketball Recap: Versailles Falls Short of Clark Montessori in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Versailles can now relate to. They fell to the Clark Montessori Cougars 62-57. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Cougars are ranked 243rd).

With the defeat, Versailles broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Clark Montessori, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.
