Softball Recap: Thompson Tommies vs. Larimore Polar Bears
Thompson strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Larimore Polar Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Tommies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Abigail Olson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2025. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Cindy Eliason was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Addysen Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Thompson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Thompson's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Larimore, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thompson will take on Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Larimore, they will square off against North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
