Soccer Game Preview: Mullen vs. Mountain Range

Mullen will face off against Mountain Range at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Mullen didn't have quite enough to beat Kent Denver and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Mullen have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Mountain Range put another one in the bag last Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Smoky Hill. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Mountain Range were the better team in the second half.

Mikayla Ledbetter and Jasmine Foltz scored both of Mountain Range's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Mountain Range's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mullen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Mullen took their win against Mountain Range in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. Will Mullen repeat their success, or does Mountain Range has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
