Volleyball Recap: Goleman Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

Goleman proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Miami Beach Hi-Tides 3-2. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hi-Tides, too.

Goleman took Miami Beach into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 23-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Goleman found their leader in sophomore Adrian Alexander Morales, who had 17 digs and three assists. Those 17 digs set a new season-high mark for Morales.

Goleman is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Miami Beach, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-3 record.

Looking ahead, Goleman will square off against Hialeah Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Miami Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
