Football Recap: Pickens County Tornadoes vs. Hackleburg Panthers

The Tornadoes were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Hackleburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Edge Weeks out in front who rushed for 118 yards on only nine carries. Those 118 rushing yards gave Weeks a new career-high. Davin Dulaney was another key rusher, rushing for 99 yards on only 11 carries.

Pickens County's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hackleburg, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Pickens County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hackleburg, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Winterboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hackleburg's defense has only allowed 8.3 points per game this season, so Winterboro's offense will have their work cut out for them.
