Volleyball Recap: Boyer Valley Beats Ar-We-Va for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Boyer Valley entered their tilt with Ar-We-Va on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Rockets 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Boyer Valley never let Ar-We-Va on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-8.

Morgan Hast paced Boyer Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hast got some help from Ava Klinker and her 30 assists. Maggie Yanak controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Boyer Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Ar-We-Va, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boyer Valley will challenge rival Glidden-Ralston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ar-We-Va is set to square off against their familiar foe CAM at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
