Volleyball Recap: Arrowhead Falls Short Against Ranked Oconomowoc

Arrowhead faced Oconomowoc in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warhawks fell 3-1 to the Raccoons. The Warhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raccoons earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

While Arrowhead ultimately came up short, they really made Oconomowoc work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 22-25, 27-25.

Siena MacCudden and Georgia House certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. MacCudden had 28 digs and four assists, while House had 12 digs and one assist. MacCudden has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Arrowhead's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Oconomowoc, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1.

Looking ahead, Arrowhead will face off against West Bend West at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oconomowoc, they will square off against Fond du Lac at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
