Basketball Game Preview: Rockland Bulldogs vs. Dietrich Blue Devils

Rockland is on a 16-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Dietrich is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Both will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Rockland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games.

On Thursday, Rockland was fully in charge, breezing past American Heritage 60-5. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Dietrich hadn't done well against Camas County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Dietrich walked away with a 71-60 victory over Camas County. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Mushers are ranked 106th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rockland's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Dietrich, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 11-1.
