Baseball Recap: St. Francis Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for St. Francis, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Soledad Aztecs by a score of 11-7 on Tuesday. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Aztecs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Javier Fonseca was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one double. What's more, he posted three hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Nash Horton, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

St. Francis' win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Soledad, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-3.
