Armuchee and Model are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Indians will head out to face off against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Armuchee is headed into Thursday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Christian Heritage.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Model, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 48-16 win over Haralson County. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won eight in a row.

Armuchee's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Model, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Armuchee couldn't quite finish off Model in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 38-36. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
