Bishop Hartley took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past St. Charles, posting a 40-7 victory. That 33 point margin sets a new team best for the Hawks this season.

Robert Lathon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 124 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 58 yards and one score on only five carries. Jakhi Calloway also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

Meanwhile, Walsh Jesuit faced Archbishop Hoban in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors took a 19-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bishop Hartley's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 36.8 points this season. As for Walsh Jesuit, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
