Basketball Recap: Central Noble Comes Up Short

Central Noble was the 51-44 winner over Fort Wayne South Side when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Central Noble Cougars had to suffer through a 68-32 loss at the hands of the Fort Wayne South Side Archers. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Fort Wayne South Side's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jarius Timberlake - Johnson led the charge by putting up ten points and six steals. Zacariah Belcher was another key player, posting ten points and eight rebounds.

Central Noble's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fort Wayne South Side, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Central Noble wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-27 loss against Westview on the 14th. As for Fort Wayne South Side, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-52 victory against Leo on the 10th.
