Basketball Recap: Thornapple Kellogg Comes Up Short

Thornapple Kellogg lost against Northview back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans had to suffer through a 85-50 loss at the hands of the Northview Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Wildcats are ranked 20th).

Thornapple Kellogg's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Northview, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Coming up, Thornapple Kellogg will take on Wayland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northview, they will challenge West Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
