Basketball Game Preview: Lorain Titans vs. Jackson Polar Bears

The Lorain Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Jackson Polar Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Lorain didn't have too much trouble with Bedford as they won 49-35.

Meanwhile, Jackson waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 60-53 win over the Orangemen. Given the Polar Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Orangemen are ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lorain is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for Jackson, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5.
