            Softball Recap: Presentation Panthers vs. Terra Nova Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Presentation can  bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Terra Nova Tigers  a   15-0 shutout. The Panthers not only won  on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 7th (when they won  20-1).

 Kyla Rae Shackelford made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Shackelford was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Maya Manriquez was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  two  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Rylee De Maio was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Presentation  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .636. They are 4-1 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Presentation's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Terra Nova, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Presentation will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Castilleja at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 28th. As for Terra Nova, they will take on El Camino at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
