Cheraw took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Swink, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolverines won by a set and slipped past the Lions 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on five straight.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Cheraw who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-9.

Cheraw's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Swink, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Cheraw wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Kit Carson on the 26th. As for Swink, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Rocky Ford on the 25th.
