While Fort Zumwalt East's victory against Washington wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions won by a run and slipped past the Bluejays 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won six matches in a row.

Fort Zumwalt East got a great performance from Carson Page as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Page has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Fort Zumwalt East's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kevin Morgan, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
