Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Gets the Win

Flowing Wells won the last time they faced Canyon del Oro and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Caballeros came out on top against the Dorados by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Caballeros.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 17-25, 25-23.

Caesar Moulinet was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 18 digs and one assist. Those 18 digs gave him a new career-high. Lincoln Maskey also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Flowing Wells now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Canyon del Oro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Flowing Wells will challenge rival Catalina Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Canyon del Oro is set to take on their familiar foe Pueblo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
