Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Calvary Christian can now relate to. They were dealt a 64-17 loss at the hands of the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings on Thursday. The Knights have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Calvary Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Charleigh Spann, who posted eight points.

Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Calvary Christian has already played their next contest, a 36-17 loss against Brookstone on the 14th. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-30 victory against Westfield School on the 14th.
