Volleyball Recap: Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears vs. WISH Academy Owls

Port of Los Angeles entered their tilt with WISH Academy on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Owls by a score of 2-0.
Nelly Esquivel paced Port of Los Angeles' offense, picking up eight kills. Esquivel got some help from Valeria Alvarez Rosales and her 15 assists. Alyssa Sandoval controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Port of Los Angeles' win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for WISH Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
Coincidentally, Port of Los Angeles and WISH Academy will both be playing Panorama the next time they take the court. The Polar Bears will head out to face the Pythons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Owls will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
