Basketball Game Preview: Banning Broncos vs. Chaffey Tigers

The Banning Broncos and the Chaffey Tigers will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Banning is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Nuview Bridge: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Broncos blew the Knights out of the water with a 75-22 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-16.

Banning's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kamari Horsman led the charge by putting up 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jadonnie Nichols, who posted 14 points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Chaffey duked it out with Perris on Friday. The Tigers came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 59-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
