Fellowship Christian posted their closest win since August 23rd on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Walker Wolverines. This was payback for the Paladins, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (59-57) Fellowship Christian actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 26-24, 15-10.

Fellowship Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Hasner led the charge by getting 18 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Maggie Moore, who had eight digs and two aces.

Despite the defeat, Walker saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sofia Moore had 11 digs and four assists.

Fellowship Christian's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Walker, their loss dropped their record down to 23-12.
