Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is North Monterey County's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

There's no place like home for North Monterey County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs 71-53 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-51 back in January.

North Monterey County is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Monte Vista Christian, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

North Monterey County will venture away from home to challenge Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. As for Monte Vista Christian, they will challenge Marina at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Monte Vista Christian is facing Marina at the right time seeing as Marina is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
