Nixa waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They took down the Ozark Tigers 63-48. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Tigers are ranked 74th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nixa's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Ozark, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
