Softball Recap: Pottstown Comes Up Short

Pottstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 19-1 to the Perkiomen Valley Vikings. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Pottstown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Perkiomen Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Pottstown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-1 loss against Pope John Paul II on the 15th. As for Perkiomen Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 19-2 victory against Upper Merion Area on the 15th.
