Softball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sterling can now relate to. They came up short against the Angleton Wildcats on Friday, falling 18-0. Having soared to a lofty 25 runs in the game before, the Rangers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Angleton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

While Sterling had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
